STILL A FEW OPENINGS HISTORICAL MARBLED PAPER PATTERNS—September 8-9 (Thurs-Fri) Early marblers made use of the physics of surface tension and ink densities in order to accomplish these deft, intricate patterns, characteristic of marbled patterns from the 1600s through the 1800s. Learn what the early marblers knew as you recreate these historical patterns. Students will learn to burnish their marbled papers with beeswax, bringing the surface of the paper to a satisfying gloss. $285 + $50 materials
